Hero 450X - Dakar Rally Scooter Concept

The following concept is the outcome of a classroom project.

Conceptualized for the year 2025, it is an offroad scooter concept envisioned to be introduced in a separate category in the Dakar Rally called the Scooter Class.(does not exist currently)

Ideation Process:

The first direction in the ideation process was rejected due to heavy resemblance to motorcycles. The second direction resembled a scooter and was taken ahead for detailing.

Due to the ongoing pandemic the model making process was limited to just one month (time allotted to the students to be in campus) and was restricted to the materials available in the campus. Hence the model you see is raw and unfinished.

The scale of the model made is 1:5
